Hi we are working in a hot and rocky area which is close to mountains and desert, so I could say that our garden is a green land with water in middle of a dry desert and it attracts many types of unwanted creatures (snakes, lizards, spiders, scropions).
Yesterday I killed one of these spider-scropion like insects which was crawling on my doorstep and I dont know if they are venomous or not.
Is it a spider or scropion or a trantula?
CLOSED: Bug id
This is a solfugid (sometimes spelled solpugid), an arachnid that goes by a wide variety of common names, including camel spider, sun spider, wind scorpion, etc. It is not venomous, but has powerful jaws that can deliver a painful bite...
Thank you for the information. Venomous or not, they creep me out, they crawl like small zombies!
