Can you tell me what kind of spider this is? I'd also like to know that the light and dark "droplets" are! Thanks.
CLOSED: Spider on Pond Clover
The spider is a six-spotted fishing spider, Dolomedes triton - http://www.spiders.us/species/dolomedes-triton/
The pale droplets likely just are water; the darker one at the end of the spider's abdomen in the first image might be bodily waste deposited by the spider...
Thanks, Flapdoodle. I just read that they eat tadpoles and there were a good many in the pond that day. I'm thinking the dark orb might have been lunch.
