I live in Daytona FL. I grew cape gooseberries over the winter and had a seasonal crop. Red spider mites took over them come spring so I cut them way back. Now they are growing back. Should I keep them for another season or uproot them and start over?

Why not just spray the plants with neem oil/soap water mix a couple of times? Why kill if they can be saved?
