This is the species I have.

There are a couple of people I was thinking of maybe sharing it with when it gets bigger. AND I would like to maybe clump more plants together to fill the pot better.

Since dividing the root ball appears to be the best way for propagation according to the Files, when is the best time to do this? I live in Iowa, if this makes a difference for timing.

Most houseplants seem to take to division and repotting best in spring, when in active growth, so I would say anytime in the next 3 months.
