CLOSED: Faceless Bird??

Southern NJ, 12/12/15. It was flying with a Tufted Titmouse, but this one looks like it has no feathers on its face. Is this a different bird, or just a faceless Titmouse?

Yep, Tufted Titmouse, perhaps with feather mite damage.
