I am not sure of the ID after referencing Peterson Mexican Birds and NGS Birds of North America. They have just arrived at my house though in large numbers so i have a sense they have migrated here for the winter? At any rate a happy familiar sound as well as sight.
The Swallows arrive?
Barn Swallows; these are all young birds (hatched summer 2015) and have shorter tails than adults.

Thank you Resin...migrants possibly heading to Costa Rica for the winter. The numbers of them are filling the sky. I have always had a fondness for Swallows.
Ah, I really enjoy these birds and sure miss them when they are gone for the winter. We had a little family on our front porch this year.
That is said to bring good luck to your home Chilly.
Now if Chillybean had attached a little numbered metal band to their legs, and Vitrsna had found the same band on one of those in the pic . . .
