I was able to identify it on my own. It is Indian Was Moth (Euchromia polymena).

I knew immediately that it was in the subfamily Ctenuchinae, but couldn't find a match for it in the Mediterranean area. Posters on this forum need to specify where their photographs were taken, as the default assumption is that it would be at your location, in this case, Malta...
