hiya
I just wanted to ask if anyone else in the UK has been refused at the PO??
I went to mail some seed off today and was told "no were not accepting any suspicous looking envlopes"? I have been sending my mail from the same PO for 4 years now (over a year for the seeds). Two of the envelopes were within the UK and a few were for the states. They were brown padded ones and not in any way suspicious. The staff at the PO said it was due to the Anthrax scares and they were not allowed to accept any seed/powder/etc!! If they feel something inside it will not be sent, so be warned and make sure your packets don`t rattle with seed or they may not take your`s!
Just want to know if anyone else has been told the same.
Oh and I posted them all of at another PO no problem!!

Nope no problem here at all, just sent a whole load of stuff out to the US, Canada, Brazil and Europe. Perhaps the staff have gotten confused with PO instructions!
I havent had any problems either.

Hi Mark, -and U.K. gardeners. No problem receiving Mark's cuttings over here either. Lots of stuff from the States, all clearly identified as to contents, and no problems.
