Baker City, OR(Zone 5b)

Good morning. It is still morning on the west coast. At about 5 am I went out and looked for shooting stars, just saw one before I decided I was cold enough. We had a bright pink sunrise this morning. I went out and took a few snapshots of the horses silouetted against the sky. No digital camera, so they will be a while getting developed. Maybe someday I will get smart enough to get them posted. About 50 Canadian geese landed on our pond this morning, then went out into the pasture to pick grass amongst the horses. We have a partly cloudy cool day, 34* at the moment with wind at about 10mph. I have holiday dinner shopping to do in town so I had better get going, it always takes longer that I plan for. Later this afternoon some more yard work, it takes a long time and I have a long way to go. Have a great day and count your blessings.
