Asparagus transplanting

I want to take some asparagus plants from my Mom's garden. Can I transplant them now? They are well-established plants. I live in southern Wisconsin.

Anna take them in clumps with good root balls of dirt do not top tey will be fine. Treat them with B-1 or fish fert the day before and at transplant. This will help prevent shock because no matter how careful you are roots will be severed and damaged.
