I found this tree growing in the yard and cut it down when it was getting too tall and it grew back so I've been trimming it and it bloomed a few flowers, and now it has little green berries on it. The bark is reddish in color. I really want to know what it is. Also it is growing near a cistern- should I be concerned?
I can't recall the name, but it looks like one that becomes a bit of a weed. Spreads very easily but, if it's the same one, don't recall it having been a problem with any plumbing.
