Would this be good fertilizer for African Vioets?

Would Organic Earthworm Castings be good to use as a fertilizer for my African Violets? Or should I stay with a commercial AV fertilizer?

I am switching from top watering to wicking.
I don't know if that will make any difference of using castings, but thought I'd give you that info incase it would.
