I'm not used to this blooming at this time of year? Any idea what's going on?

I have seen that happen sometimes, I think the crazy weather has a lot to do with it.

I think it is a Fall Aster.

My hostas are starting to bloom. I haven't seen them bloom this early before. But that could be me. Plus the rain.

I've got stuff that's still blooming from spring, didn't know they could bloom this long ie corn poppies and some stuff like the wild sunflowers that usually bloom much later. I even have some larkspur still blooming. Crazy weather.

It is a fall aster. My bush is loaded with buds. I'll chalk it up to the crazy weather.

my spring wildflowers are still going but my fall stuff, well don't have much fall stuff but it hasn't started

My asters, coneflowers and Carolina Phlox are all blooming now. Seems I am seeing them earlier than I remembered in past years. Then some of the daylilies have yet to bloom others spent. Crazy rain, sun, hail,...repeat.

I think my aster seed didn't work. Try again another year

Aster seeds are very difficult to germinate, a lot better with spring cuttings.

maybe next year or see about cuttings at Roundup?

The cuttings work best in early spring, but if you want some later I can do that.
