gopher-proof ground cover?

I'm in San Francisco landscaping a friend's yard. We have lots of naked lady bulbs which it appears the gophers don't like. Can anyone suggest a drought tolerant ground cover that gophers don't like. If it is tall enough to camouflage the foliage of some naked ladies that would be a plus.

Look for Rabbit and Deer resistant plant list for your area. Usually if neither deer nor rabbits will eat it it, then gophers probably won't bother it either. Euphorbia comes to mind but I am sure there are others.
