CLOSED: Coloring Question

I've seen tiny baby male finches in the past with what appears to be yellow coloring, and have had that explained. However, this apparently mature male finch is bright orange, unless he's not a male finch...? Is this just another anomaly?

Yep, 'yellow-variant' male House Finch. Reported fairly frequently.
