I got 3 pandanus utilis seeds from my friend in Tenerife. They are big nuts, and I have been thinking, is it one big seeds or is there f.ex. 3 smaller seeds inside? What should I do for the seeds?? I tried to open one and it was very hard job... somekind of fiber around the seeds. So - has anyone grown pandanus from seed?

hmm... I've already checked those but didn't find anything new... althought my Finnish gardening friends at puutarha.net told that I should soak the seeds.
