Thank you for the birthday wishes!

Hey Pat, that is a beautiful floral teacup :) I can't wait to set pretty outdoor tables and have some memorable lunch/desert/dinner get-togethers with all the pretty vintage ware you've been helping me find. Hurry up warmer weather!

Jumping in to wish you a wonderful Birthday.

With this weather--it is good to just hunker down with a good drink,
put on some nice music and cuddle up.

Hope your day was nice....Gita

Happy Birthday, Terri! I hope it was a good one.

Lucketts, VA(Zone 7a)

I love all the photos! Robin that cake is awesome; Jill and Gita, I love the flowers - makes me long for spring; Judy cute turtle; and what would a birthday be without Ric's MA giraffe LOL.

It was a work day, so nothing fancy smancy to celebrate - dinner out at the local Mexican restaurant and a plan to crawl under the covers here shortly. Mike bought microfiber sheets for Christmas. I was skeptical and just put them on the bed last week. They are unbelievably warm and comfy. Now I could kick myself for waiting so long to use them. Best part of being another year older is also being one year closer to retirement! Twenty Four more months until I'm eligible. Not that I'm counting or anything LOL.

Thanks again for the well wishes!

V V--Your cats are all beautiful!--and have good "taste'....in books as well as
refreshments... Nice staging... G.

Lucketts, VA(Zone 7a)

VV - I agree whole heartedly with what G said lol. Those photos crack me up.

Hey, I heard through the grapevine that you are interested in wines and I think it is definitely confirmed by that last photo :) My sister and her husband have started their own VA vineyard and winery in Rappahannock County. They've been working on the vine plantings for several years, have harvested and produced limited volume wines for two or three years now, and opened up tastings to the public last summer. Check out their web site and facebook for kicks if you want:

Vienna, VA(Zone 7a)

That's an impressive website, Aspen; pass on my compliments!

VV, those are great photos of your obviously very spoiled, very lucky cats.

Damascus, MD(Zone 7a)

I am only late by 2 days this time ;-). Hope you have had a great BD, Terry.

VV, wine, gardens, and cats. Sounds like a good life to me :o).

Well, they are a handsome lot - even if they still have a hard time with the whole opposite v. alternate thing.

As owners, they do have good taste in humans...

Is that a kid(s) of yours that the cats are "domineering"?
Hmmm-How many shades of gray?

I can tell they are loved and well taken care of.

What are their names? Pair it with some more pictures, OK?

Stay warm! Gita

Scott County, KY(Zone 5b)

OK, Gita - I'll succumb to interest in more resident cat images.

I'm taking it here, though, to not dilute aspenhill's birthday thread.
