Yehudith, I think I may have missed some prior threads on this. Are you hosting a garden party for Dave's Garden?
Good L-rd I thought I'd mentioned it! Yes! I'm planning a garden party and all my Dave's friends are invited! I've probably watched to many episodes of Midsommer Murders, but I have a yen to have a garden party complete with big hats and flowery dresses.
Anyway, you are all invited, hubby's firing up the grill and G-d willing all the flowers will be blooming and I can keep the deer off for that week at least.

Yehudith, how exciting! I wasn't following some of the threads very closely for a couple of months, so it's possible that I missed out on this discussion.
I don't have a flowery dress but I'm pretty sure there's a big hat in the back of the closet somewhere! I'm looking forward to it! :)

It looks as though Holly and I are free then, a garden party sound wonderful!
So far I'm free, and it's penciled it in on my calendar. A mid-summer gathering sounds nice!

You will have to post a sing up and what we can bring. If we aren't prepping and toting plants, the food should be amazing, our best efforts. Oh and don't forget the enhanced fruit of the grape.

Speaking of Midsommer Murders, there are so many British murder mysteries on TV these day that my husband (a Brit) wonders if their population has been greatly reduced as a result. It seems that people are getting killed in beautiful villages every week, haha!
Would you like us to contribute to food? I can bring some mini sandwiches.
No food. We'll supply the food and the tipple. If I'm lucky I may get my daughter to play a couple pieces for us, with all we're spending on piano lessons she better. Well there's always CD's as a back up. I'm also going to try to get our neighbourhood Master Gardener to come so we can pick her brains.
Now if you guys want to bring plants to auction off for the benefit of the ASPCA that would be beyond great and wonderful.
I'm just hoping my garden won't embarrass me too much. When we moved in a couple years ago it was nothing.. Absoutely Nothing!!!. But every year gets better.
I forgot, kids and pets are welcome, back yard is fully fenced.
