I tossed some seeds out in a planter earlier this week.
well so far not one seed got out, but I worked a couple of really long days and that pays the bills. Maybe today
I tossed mine last fall. But ever so often I get urge to toss a few more.

That's funny that you mention the chickens. Up until this year I've had peafowl and guinea birds, lots of them but we got a dog and they don't like him. I've had much better germination of tossed seeds probably bc they weren't eaten!
