Kind of interesting in a way.

There are parts of the country where tuberous begonias are used as bedding plants; I guess that is where their "popularity" comes from; I see few around here where it is too steamy for them.

There are certainly more in depth resources like the sticky right here on this forum but that is a lot of reading and some people only want the quick and dirty.

Yeah, tuberous can be grown in the south but usually as an annual. I gave up on those a few years back. If the price is low then sure, why not grow them for a few months.

I quit reading that sticky probably ten years ago or however long it has been in place. Good for beginners much like the article was.
