Hello everyone!
I have frequented Dave's Garden many times in the past, and decided to make it official and become a member. I am 30+ year male from Northern Kentucky and have an obsession for nature, gardens and houseplants. Check out my Blog if you want to know more about me. I look forward to learning much here and getting to know some of you!

Hello from Campbell county! It's well worth the cost of membership for all the helpful info and great people here.
I checked out your blog--japanese honeysuckle is at the top of the list of invasive plants in our area. Yes, it's pretty, but it severely chokes out native species. It has taken over my parents' wooded acreage. Please make sure what you have is not the invasive variety.
Welcome!

Hey a local! Nice to meet you. I know the honey suckle BUSHES are invasive, but these were supposedly the actual honey suckle tree. If that's what it even is, and if it is it is a true tree, very beautiful. Regardless, I never got them to sprout from berries so I am sticking with cold stratification on the red bud trees. "Paid membership"?
Yes, for $20 a year, you get access to a lot more of the forums.
Maybe those berries have to pass through a bird's digestive system before they sprout? I really don't know, lol.
