Post N Central Fall RU - What Is This or What To Do with It

Dallas, TX

Josephine - Need your help. What would you suggest that I do with the little Dutchman's Pipe? Since it is so small (now), should I pot it up? Or should I try to get it in the ground, which despite the recent rains might be difficult. I've forgotten but could look up whether it prefers sun or shade or something in between. Thanks!

Your turn, Bananna. Since the Blue Bedder (I love to try to say that multiple times.) is small, should I pot it up for now or start digging?

I am going to try to get the Inland Sea Oats in the ground. If I can't do it right away due to weather, will they still be ok in the pot for another week or so?

I would keep the Pipevine in the pot until spring since it is small. It would be good if you can bring it in during very cold spells.

It should be fine in the pot. Although I think since there is a good root system, if you water and mulch well, they should be ok in the ground.I guess you can cover it with a pot if it gets cold for a month or so. I am having to make the same decisions.
