Hello everyone! I signed up here because there is a spider in my windowsill that I have not been able to identify. I live in Utah. I have not been able to see the underbelly of the spider, but here is the best pic I could get. The spider is about the length of my thumb nail INCLUDING the legs in this pic, and has a double row of orange spots on its back.

It's a cobweb/comb-footed spider (family Theridiidae) in the genus Steatoda, perhaps S. grossa - see http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/f/f7/Kaldari_Steatoda_grossa_female_01.jpg
Bite can be very painful (personal experience), but not dangerous.
