Lovely weather yesterday for our little group of DG'ers. As always I really enjoyed visiting with everyone and eating good food. I now own banana trees, we shall see how that goes.
I have the answer that was plaguing all of us. The mysterious vine that none of us have ever seen before is actually a TX native, Woo Hoo, called hairy cluster vine. Apparently it crops up in new turf and is considered quite a pest. It is a member of the morning glory family, and reseeds. I understand.
I hope to get it climbing on the fence and get some seed saved for spring.
Wonderful time with wonderful people. I have a few pics, mostly of the girls with the goats and horse. Will post them later after chores.
Roux Crew Round Up Wrap Up
Congratulations, Lynne!
Joy,
Thank you for everything! Anita and I had a wonderful time.
Thanks for all the goodies, too. Gonna do my best to show up with some Black Cherry tomatoes next time!
