OMG!!! This should be illegal. LOL It is hogging all the flowers just for itself.

Yes, I remember this photo well. This old 'tree' is most probably getting up close to being 100 years old. Waihi is an old gold mining town going back to 1878, and they're still mining here...

Just truly amazing! I wonder just how many flowers it has on it.

I was just talking to my friend who turned 92 in March. We commiserated on our mind slippage we both have though hers didn't start till the last year or so. I won't even go to our body slippage. Our flowering days are long over. LOL Oh to be an old tree as beautiful as that. Too bad humans are not so robust as this old tree!

Beautifully put indeed, my dear!!

Wishing you all the Blessings of Easter!

Then again, I'd love to be a deciduous human when come spring I would emerge all new! LOL

Happy Easter to you too, Annette! I hope you stay safe and snug with your Celino!

Thank you, Kell...

In October 2019 I paid $970 (!!) to have 2 of Celino's teeth removed. I thought that that was why he was not his old self, and he'd lost half his body weight. But no - I took him back up to the vets, and a junior told me he had a bladder infection, so he was immediately dealt with because he was in pain. While he was on the table the senior vet phoned me at home to say It's not a bladder infection, and that she had run a scan over him, and it showed an enlarged kidney with a huge cyst surrounding it, and the other kidney was also enlarged. I went straight up, and made the decision to put him to sleep while he was still under the anaesthetic. It was pretty sad! From 6th November, 11th November to 16th February I lost my 3 Boys roughly within 3 months of each other... The rawness of it all has now passed, and I know that they are no longer in pain. I have been blessed to have had such wonderful little companions that made me laugh every day! I do not plan on adding to my family.

Oh no! I am so sorry. What a heartache especially to lose all 3 so close together.

I have cats for years bit I did go thru several years with none, It was great in a way to get a break from all their needs. But then we succumbed to our Nick's charms and within a few months we had 3. So I bet in a few years you will come across a kitty in need and you will fall in love once again.

I really am so sorry! I know how devastating it can be.

PS I would get a new more reasonable vet!

Thank you, Kell for your compassionate concerns...
