I found several of these on a plant next to one of my tomato plants.None on my plants.Looked like just a weed.There is tree nearby that has what looks like some sort of large web on a branch.I'm wondering if the worms fell from the tree.Never saw any before.
These are caterpillars of the Gulf fritillary butterfly, Agaulis vanillae - http://entomology.ifas.ufl.edu/creatures/bfly/gulf_fritillary.htm
They would not have come from any web...
