Hey where is everybody? These unseasonably warm temps are almost scary - either winter will hit with an unexpected blast or we will have an unusually dry warm winter. I am still trying to catch up. I do a lot of billing to some big corporations and the red tape is getting stickier and they are taking longer to pay.
I took the afternoon off and took some of dd's clothes to a consignment shop. I thought they would want some of her prom dresses and they didn't want them. The only thing they took were some jeans - we'll see how much we get - already seems like it was a waste of time. Anybody have any suggestions for old prom dresses? I am donating several other bags of clothes and coats to the Catholic Social Services as they take semi loads of clothes to rural areas of the diocese for people to pick up on as needed basis. I stopped at the Goodwill and bought a nice pair of coveralls for myself for $10. DD's are too small and Dh's are too big. The clerk commented what good shape they were in and I said they would come in handy for me for chores on the farm. The clerk thought they came from a farmer - I just laughed and said - nope they are too clean and not torn and patched. Another lady agreed with me - she said she was also a farmer. Well better get some supper done - do you all get tired of figuring out what to cook? Probably leftovers tonight! You all have a great evening!
