I created a Garden Showcase album of my outdoor fairy garden. I added tags to all of the plants So that you can find them in the PlantFiles. I live in zone 5a.

My Fairy Garden 2014
Very attractive fairy garden SallieKr.
I love your use of plants.
Thanks! Luckily I haven't had to try to prune the trees yet, but some of the other plants are a challenge to keep in check.
Amazing & very well done! How did things fare over winter?

Still recovering! The "trees" are fine, but we had 5+ inches of snow a couple of weeks ago, so I still can't tell how many plants survived. I created the garden in 2012 and most of the plants have survived 2 winters, so I'm sure most will be fine. Maybe I'll actually finish it this year. The Hobbit House front and at least one more wall section need to be created. Thanks for your comments!
I couldn't be more impressed! I'm in Z8 & haven't managed to install any "trees" in mine yet. I'm a total fan, look forward to your updates!
Ouch! Looking really sad, but it's still early in the season. I think it's finally safe- hopefully no more freezing temps- to start putting everything back together. Unfortunately, the pump for my pond died and I installed a new one yesterday, after spending 2 days cleaning the pond and surrounding garden areas.
Here's what the area looks like now, compared to 9/27/2014. There are actually quite a few plants just starting to come back that can't be seen in the photos. My pond is very small, which makes the fairy garden look much larger. It's actually only 44" long by about 14" back to front.
Completely awesome! Truly inspirational. :+)
