CLOSED: wanted: white Texas Star seeds
LazLo if you do have any extra white one also would like to get some. I have the red ones growing I got from you. Thanks
Hi Lazlo, I have the dark pink, but no red or white. Someone sent me some last year but they did not survive. Can I send you the postage? Hope you are getting around good and fast. LOL Alda
Gettin' stronger by the day. Been off the really good, but totally, legit stuff for neigh on 6 weeks. Back to using only the meds for osteoarthritis . . . Got cleared to drive the car for local trips, thank goodness. I was beginning to go crazy not getting up and about. OK now, tho'.
Just like downtown, Alda, ya just gotta send me an addressed envelope, or one with a mailing label loose inside, together with a couple 'forever' stamps or equivalent value over more than two stamps.
Are your dark pink ones the 'Moy Grandé' hybrid hardy hibiscus? If not I might have a few of them to add in a lagniappe envelope - - they won't take the weight or thickness to extra stamps territory. So, lemme know. It will be a few before your envy & stamps get here.
As always . . . A T B T Y !!!

O,K, Lazlo, I forgot. Your env. is on the way. Alda P>S> I don't have any moy grande hibs. A few seeds would be nice.
Alas, I've not yet discovered where the Moy Grandé seeds are mislaid. Since the surgery my system has gone off the tracks. I *know* they exist somewhere in what I euphemistically call my office. I now have a big yellow post-it note next to my monitor, "MOY GRANDÉ for Alda" to remind me as I work on getting all these misfiled seeds put into order again. Won't ask for more stamps when those are located, so no worries. 'K?
I will be mailing today a dozen 2014-harvested Hibiscus coccineus 'Alba' seeds and another 12 of H. syriacus 'Totus Alba' I harvested last November. This variety of the Rose Of Sharon has, as in the cultivar's name, completely white. You did say you're looking for any white hibiscus ...
A T B T Y,

Txtea . . . Jim, I do have another dozen that I'll be happy to send your way. Just do as Alda [alday] did. Send me a two forever stamps together with your mailing label - - or your name & address handwritten (printed) on a piece paper is alright, too. Please do not affix the forever stamps to anything . . . I recycle bubble wrap and bubble envelopes.
Also drop me a line in DMail letting me know you will be sending your snail mail addy and stamps so that I will have seeds set aside for you when postage arrives.

Thanks Lazlo, I rec'd your seeds. Now I need you knowledge about Pride of Barbadeous seeds. I may have some soon but I don't know how to start them. Should I soak them, freeze them or just plant them now? I know you know all about plants so maybe you will feel like letting me in on this situation. Thanks again, alda
That's good news, Alda.
Here's the URL to the page of my DG Garden Diary that is all about growing seeds from plants in the Caesalpinia genus:

Thank you Lazlo, I knew you would come thru. Maybe I'll have better luck this time. alda
