She has purple wisteria seed to trade. She would love to have lupines. We are in a hot area so most wont work here I think. I believe the Russell Hybrid mixed lupines are good. We live in NE Tx in zone 7b-8a. Thanks. Just let me know if you have any lupines for heat. Im sure anything would sound good to her. She wants to become a jr master gardener.
my ten year old wants to trade
I will be glad to send her some seeds, I don't have lupine seeds but could send her some others. LMK

Thanks Yardbird....my daughter will be absolutely thrilled. I should take it as a huge compliment she wants to be like me with the gardening. Since Im a master gardener she wants to become a jr master gardener. Im in the Native Plant Society here too. She goes to my meetings with me. (my son does too...he is 8) She is dying to take my seed there to trade. You don't trade there though. You bring extras, people get it if they want it. Then you put the money in the box for the club. They use it for different reasons. They purchase small gifts for speakers and stuff. My kids like it cause they always have nice snacks for the meetings.....LOL.

I don't have any lupine seeds, but it seems like Park Seed was offering a lupine last year that was supposed to stand up to the Southern climate better than most. You might check them out.
Thanks MsBatt....appreciate it.

MsBatt...you were right....there are seeds on here for the south. Kayla loves the lupines from a book I used to read to her.
Miss Rumphius was the name of the book. If you havent read it, please do so. It is a great book. I'm sure you could find it at your library.
