Extra stamens and petals

Noticed this variation ... the first pic has the extra petals and stamens

Had forgotten to tag the stem of the double flower but had another bloom.... Also noticed one of my Lord Baltimore's only had four petals and seemed to have pollen??? (included a pic of the normal bloom) Also thankful that my Ohio White Star seems very vigorous this year - in fact, it seems like a real "bumper" year for the hibi's - hard winters must not bother them and with the frequent rains early on and lots of sun - well, the result has been outstanding.... hope everyone else has had a good summer too!

Is it a conjoined bud?

I've got 3 buds on one single hibiscus stem I'm sure that's an oddity too!
