My new find is a new dehydrator that I got for a steal. I have wanted a new dehydrator for a couple of years now. I had an old round Ronco that did not hold very much and was a killer to clean. The type that I wanted was like the Excalibur but was too expensive to buy. Since I had so many tomatoes that some was going bad I started thinking again about a new dehydrator. Those who know me, know that I am like a dog with a bone. I started looking and found a new Lem 10 tray dehydrator (which is huge) for a steal of a deal. I have tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers and a couple of habanero peppers drying now. I love making and eating jerky and that comes next in the new dehydrator. Yumm! This dehydrator will come in so handy cause I love jerky and dried fruits. It will also come in handy for preserving some of my veggies.
Does anyone have any fruit, meat or veggies recipes to be used in a dehydrator.
