Weevils, possibly grain weevils in the genus Sitophilus - check any dry cereal grains (wheat, corn, rice, etc.) that you may have on hand for signs of insect damage. Their jaws are at the end of their 'snout,' and are very tiny. I doubt that they are capable of inflicting much of a bite...
