Early this morning we noticed a small swarm of these. Appears they were mating and then died. Should we consider them a pest? They are small. About 3/16" long. We are in drought conditions (Richardson, Tx) and just had a major rainfall.

My neighbor identified this as male ants spawning. Short lived and harmless.
