Hallo. I don't what I'm doing/not doing to my clems. All have only or mostly brown leaves, and I don't know what to do.
I have deep mulched, kept watered, and fed Epsom salts.
It has been particularly hot this year, up to 100, but this has been my result with clems every time I have tried. And I have no desire to give up!
I suppose I should get you all a picture, but it wasn't something that called me to photograph! Just think dry and dead looking. (I do know not to assume they're dead.)
Brown clems, discouraged
It's something that can happen at times so the best advice I can give you is to cut them back at ground level, clean up and dispose of all the leaves and stems, and you should see new stems with nice new leaves within two to three weeks.
Let us know what happens. Good luck.
Oh, good! Thanks Arlene!
It happens to many of us now and then so keep your chin up!
