I found him in my car and have never seen anything like it. I had no luck reasearching it, thought maybe someone here would recognize it. Was found in Maryland.

It's a long-horned wood-boring beetle; it appears to be in the subfamily Lamiinae - see http://www.pbase.com/tmurray74/longhorned_beetles_subfamily_lamiinae_ for some examples...
