Finally have several coming along, first picked today, with about a dozen to pick next week, after seeing my first squash bug I sprinkled seven all over the center stems of the plants, hope its not too late.
Yellow neck squash
Looks great!
Thanks have a few butter dish squash setting fruit as well, doubt if there is much difference in taste between crooked neck and straight neck yellow squash, just wish the mexican squash would set fruit, would really like to compare the taste,I heard they taste much like the yellow neck fried!
What kind of Mexican squash is it? I'm growing a new zucchini this year because my husband liked it so much from the store.
Cucurbita moschata but I can't get the flowers pollinated to set fruit, even tried hand pollinating.
Tropicman
What SEVEN does to your squash plants?
How does it stop the SVB eggs to hatch?
He doesn't have SVB, but squash bugs.
I did last year, but Hadn't seen any this year yet,no I talking about those greyish to black ,brownish 5/8 long flat bugs.
