CLOSED: Juvie Robin?

Aurora, CO(Zone 4a)

I took several photos of this bird a long while ago, and am wondering now if it was a juvenile robin. The 4th photo was taken a couple of days later. Was assuming it's the same bird...could anyone help with this?

Wait for the experts, but to me (rookie at this), the first three do look like young American Robins. The last one looks like a molting European Starling.

Thanks! I was thinking robin with these first photos, and am glad to know I was right. He just looks so fierce! And the starlings have been confusing me for a while, what with all the molting. I appreciate the help.

Yep, moulting juvenile Starlings changing from plain mousy-grey juvenile plumage to spotted adult winter plumage (while the adults are still in plainer summer plumage) are notorious for causing confusion ;-)
