I saw this butterfly this morning fluttering around my potted citrus tree for about 5 minutes. She was laying eggs. I'd love to see the eggs grow! Problem is, there are tons of lizards around here. Any ideas? It's a small plant so I could probably just cover it somehow.
Yep, You're a lucky guy! If you can rig some kind of screen house to cover the plant, the cats can grow up. Is your plant small enough you could bring inside in front of a sunny window? Netting has to be pretty small to keep out lizards and the tiny wasps that lay eggs in the caterpillar and kill it.
