I had a brug last year that was beautiful. The cold winter did it in, Someone told me that it would come back so I've waited. Now there is a big ball growth at ground level with little knobs all over it. Have you ever seen this? Alda

Perhaps it is getting ready to come up. Did you mulch last year? Just feed it and see what happens.
You have nothing to loose... give it a good amount of liquid fertilizer to give it a boost.
