Good morning all. Shad and I just hauled of most of the entrails from some of the deer we've butchered this weekend. When we got back I discovered some wrapped in some plastic that we missed. I'll take them off tomorrow. Shad ground nearly all of the meat from the last one with a table mounted hand grinder that he and his mom found in a thrift shop a couple weeks ago.
It's really cold at night now but warms up nicely during the daytime. Some days we start out in sweat suits and by noon we're in shorts and short sleeves. Then by evening it's cold again.
We got some of the most wonderful news this evening. Just as we were getting ready to go to church our son who moved to Omaha, NE a year ago drove in. We had no idea he was down here so we were really suprised to see him. Then he said he has given his employers a 2 week notice and will be moving home the 24th. He is looking at jobs in this general area and wishes he had never left Tyson. He has been sending out resume's and has had a couple telephone interviews already.
I suppose I really should go to bed pretty quickly as more dead deer may show up in the morning. GOD bless and keep each and all of you.
