This is a creepy bug I found near a stream. It has two pairs of membranous wings (from what I can tell), and a long "tail" thingy. It is black and has pretty long antennas. Both the antennas and legs have pale white segments on them. Its back legs are significantly longer than its front ones. Thanks in advance!

This is a female ichneumon wasp, it's "tail" thingy is its ovipositor, used to insert its eggs into its intended victim. All ichneumon wasps are parasitic on other arthropods, mainly insects, and are harmless to people.
