Sparrow ID help

York Haven, PA

I have only been serious about photographing birds over the last couple of years and am now working on ID's for some of the ones I don't know. I confess sparrows confuse me. These are all from PA and I would appreciate any help anyone can give me. I have some ideas but just not sure.

1. Male House Sparrows
2. Maybe Song Sparrow (another should come by to give a definite ID)
3. Song Sparrow

Thanks. I thought the last two were song sparrows but was not sure. I am pretty good at finding ducks, swallows etc but just don't trust myself when it comes to sparrows. I guess my old brain just doesn't compute.

Native sparrows are probably my favorite to ID since we have so many come to our yard. I think the last time I counted was over 15 species that passed through our yard. LeConte's, Henslow's and Lark are the only sparrows we've seen away from our yard that never have come to our feeding area.

If it isn't a male duck, I do not even try to ID. They all look like Mallards to me. :)

Swallows are a fun bird. I enjoy watching them hunt for bugs.
