And this little wispy thing is growing up amongst my lemon balm...any ideas on ID?

The wispy plant could be Cosmos.
As for the other one - Geranium looks like a good guess. Have you posted them on the Plant ID forum?

I agree , some hardy Geranium is a good guess, like one I had that died down over winter and would get all new leaves. I think species was maculatum? among others. I think it's too big to be 'just' a wild one

Yes I'll have to go over the to ID forum...for some reason I have all kinds of stuff coming up in my yard and I'm not one to yank and throw away any more 'just in case' it's something I could use medicinally etc.
