id Ks/Mo milkweed n info

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

I think this is spider milkweed but not sure. Thick here in these 2 states tho I saw nothing but 1skipper and 1 bee. Where are the seeds located? The spent blooms fall onto the sticky leaves til they dry out, but are seeds in the spent blooms or the unswollen part they fell off of?

No seeds in the spent blooms, the seed pods form after the blooms fall off and are the usual shape big and fat. Unfortunately not many seed pods form on most milkweeds.

Explains why there were no fat bulbs under the spent blooms in spite of the mass of plants. Thanx Jo
