Hi,
I spotted these birds yesterday and they were so well-camouflaged that I almost missed them. I happened to notice something moving in an area of dried leaves so I attempted to focus my camera on it. I then realized there were quite a few of these birds, but they were darting around so fast, I had trouble getting any decent shots.
Most of the pics are of the same bird. The last shot of two birds is the only one that shows the breast area. I'm also curious if they're both the same species or two different types that hang around together. Or... possibly a male and female of the same type.
Thanks in advance for any help!
CLOSED: Veery? Hermit Thrush? Or?
Pics 1-4, and the front bird in pic 5, show a brown thrush with an eye ring, and what breast spotting is visible, is fairly weak. That fits Swainson's Thrush best.
The rear bird in pic 5 looks a bit more rufous and could be a Veery, but is too blurred to be certain.

Thanks Resin!
This evening I spotted one darting around the very back of my yard (those first shots were my neighbor's yard). I took some more pics and though I haven't looked at them yet it gave me a chance to study the bird some more.
I didn't see the Veery-looking one, but I'll keep looking.
