special mums from King's Mums

south central, WI(Zone 5a)

I have 3 "Kermit" button mums (kermit the frog green) and 1 Green Bay-greenish white cushion mum. These were costly, but wanted to try, they need a new home as the bloom date is the end of Oct/early Nov. I kept them covered, so got lovely blooms this year, but am not going to do the wrap every cold night thing again- they need to be much farther south than WI!!!!!!!!!!!! I would like to trade for -unique things-black pussywillow, clump bamboo(hardy to zone 5,Dutchmans pipevine, coral peony, or a nice selection of Oriental bulb or make suggestions. I would like this to be one trade, as we have only a few "mild days promised" and things must be in the ground soon.

The Kermits are gone, still have the Green Bay.

Marcia, this is a side question, but I notice you purchased the mums from King's. Seeing your post triggered in my mind that I hadn't added them to the list of companies to be rated. I went ahead and did that, and thought I'd mosey on over here and invite you to rate them http://davesgarden.com/gwd/ since you've ordered from them, if you feel comfortable doing so :)

P.S. Hope you find (found) a home for the Kermit "babies" in time!

The Kermits are in a good warm home.

Glad to hear it. And I saw where you rated King's Mums - thanks! I had wondered about them, thanks for sharing your experience :)
