Murfreesboro, TN(Zone 7a)

It's grey and drizzly out, this morning. The dogs just had a nice romp in the mud. Big foot prints all over the back porch. Jake is "talking" to me; I think he's saying he's hungry. DS stayed up late playing a new video game (he's been saving/waiting for it for a month), so I told him I'd feed them this a.m.

Bless our vets and, oops, forgot to say "Happy Birthday" to the USMC yesterday. DDs will play in a veteran's memorial day concert tomorrow, with procedes to go to our local VA. They have over 100 people in their concert band, and it should be a real treat.

DH and DD (the one w/the '67 Mustang) woke early to go to the car show/swap meet this morning. I know they'd both rather be deer hunting, but this year things keep happening and they just haven't been able to go as a team. Wish I knew some deer hunters around here - haven't had venison for way too long ;-)

Looks like winter may come early this year - already cool enough for fall crops to be sprouting. The price of broccoli should be coming down and the quality going up pretty soon. Yum!

Take care, everyone. Blessings.

Karla
