Hi from Northeast Texas

I'm a sort of newbie to gardening. Dabbled a bit and have had houseplants but this is the first year I've been able to have a veggie and herb garden. Looking forward to learning from everyone :)

Welcome Penny! Any chance you could come to Arlington TX on May 18 to our Spring RU? You can meet a lot of the people you will see on the Texas forum. Bring a covered dish and an inexpensive garden item for the door prize drawing and I will pay your $5 entry fee. (Big Spender, huh!) You will have a lot of fun and probably go home with a bunch of free plants. Let me know and I'll give you the info you will need.

Thanks for the welcome. The Spring RU sounds fun, but I don't think I'll be able to make it to Arlington anytime soon. I do appreciate the offer though :) I see your location is Houston Heights. I lived in Houston for 35 years, on the southeast side, almost to Friendswood :)
