If young then great. If not, asking for a visit to an orthopedic surgeon. We are taking my mil on Tuesday for surgery😢

The color is hot, the fit will be horridly miserable. They look plastic? or is this a pot to plant succulents in?

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Inner sole looks hollow, is it a planter?

Frisco, TX(Zone 8a)

I am looking at it on a small tablet and didn't see the hollowed out part. Wouldn't it look great sitting on a small table planted up with a small succulent!

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

Correctamundo, my friends ! It is a planter.

I was thinking a pair planted together might look good.

What would you think of it as a door prize for a roundup ?

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Don't know that it has to b a pair. Someone w/ a
flair for whimsy would put this next to a boot, a high heel, a baby shoe, you know--collection kinda thing

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

Vossner, great idea !

Would you be horrified if you got it for a door prize ?

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

I would find something to plant in it, or even root in water if solid...

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

I would b delighted b/c I have a dear friend that would love it and I'd give 2 her. When I try to get cutesey w/ plantings it always end up looking junkie so I've accepted my shortcoming and enjoy it thru those that CAN make it cute and fun in their gardens.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Many of us DO have a good sense of whimsy, uh, humor. Chuckle. It would be a welcome door prize

Dallas, TX

Great door prize! Can I have it? :D

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

who knows ????

Mebbe you will get lucky !

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

I hope I get lucky as I love them
I have some kids rubber boots and some croc type shoes to plant in. So many projects and so little time

Dallas, TX

Saw a rather large scotch tape dispenser today at the Family Dollar store that was in the shape of a woman's shoe. It was bright orange but more of a high heel. Wonder if it could be converted into a planter.

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

How about this one , which I saw at Joanns

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

I love it and can see succulents in it

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

vossner, did you see that in a store or online ?

Love that look !

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Where did you find the orange shoes?

East Texas, United States(Zone 8a)

Store

Dallas, TX

Rats! Was at the Family Dollar store and it turns out that it's not where I saw the orange high heel shoe / tape dispenser. Can't think where I saw it. It would be so easy to remove the tape roller and the alleged tape cutter. (Do they ever really cut?) Where the heck was it? A dream?

Aha! Not a dream. Turns out I saw it at my local Tom Thumb grocery store. Comes in bright orange and also in hot pink. But sells for $11.99. Yes, that's a penny shy of 12 smackeroos, my friends. Guess I won't be getting one any time soon.

So who won the 'shoe'? I didn't even get a chance to see it let alone the happy recipient.

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

I don't remember who did win it either.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Waitin pictures guys!!!

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Well there are 68 of them so I need a little time.

Magnolia, TX(Zone 9a)

Aww! We'll be here. glad it was pretty there. weather channel was looking at an elephants foot supercell Wyoming got slammed with today.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I originally won the shoe, but ilovejesus twisted my arm and traded me the Candle tree for it. I am not a container gardener, that is hubby. I had lost my Candle tree (host plant for sulphur butterflies) and really wanted it. It turned out we had an excess of door prizes and on the second round Becky won a succulent and gifted Sandy with it for the shoe!
So Sandy we expect a picture of the bright yellow clog planted!

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Well once I get it glued :( :( I didn't realize the box was upside down when carrying it in and it fell out and broke. I was heart broken :( Oh well I did go out and my candlestick is coming back so happy I gave it to you Sheila :) Hope it was clean breaks as I really loved it :(

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Oh no! Hopefully it can be repaired.

Rancho Santa Rita, TX(Zone 8a)

I hope so too ! There are no more to be had.

I had ordered six, that was the only one left.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Aw bummer about your shoe! I hope it "heels" okay! ;)

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

Yeah was tired and tried to get alot from my car and bam. I don't think it is fixable but hey there is always other door prizes in other years. I guess it saves trying to drill a hole without breaking it. :( life is too short to cry over it.

Been really sick today and not sure what is up. My back hurts all up and down my spine and one of the worst Sinus headache since I can't remember when. Have slept all day and going back again. Thank God I can sleep to get away from it. Hope plants survive 1 more day no water. Just can't do it today.

(Becky), Lipan, TX(Zone 7b)

Oh no! I hope you get to feeling better!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Sandy I do hope you are just busy and not seriously ill. Get up and get those babies planted!

Baytown, TX(Zone 9b)

It was a one day thing but wow did it knock me down. I am getting alot done in the yard and really grateful we are having so much rain. Filled all my empty rain water jugs and set out more buckets to catch all I can.

Thanks Sheila :)

Baja where did you say you got those planters? I know they are sold out but want to watch for next year :)
